We are delighted to announce that the Procurement Lawyers’ Association next event and Annual General Meeting will be held at the at the Law Society, 113 Chancery Lane, London WC2A 1PL on Wednesday, 7 February 2018 at 4.45pm.

The meeting will commence with the AGM and will be followed by a presentation of the awards to the winners of the Rosie Choueka Memorial Essay Competition and the presentation of the winner’s essay.  This will be followed by presentations and discussion focusing on Brexit and public procurement: following a brief introduction on what GPA compliance would entail, Michael Bowsher QC, Jason Coppel QC and Sarah Hannaford QC will set out their views on what aspects of the procurement legislation they would wish to keep or change, on the assumption that post-Brexit UK legislation would only require GPA-compliance.

The AGM and event will be followed by a drinks reception.

The event is free for PLA members.  Non-members from the private sector may attend for a ticket price of £25 and all others for a ticket price of £12.50.  The ticket price includes membership of the Association for the membership year (which ends on 30 November 2018).
