AGM in London on 8th May 2025
The Procurement Lawyers’ Association (PLA) were delighted to hold our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in London on Thursday 8th May 2025. We are very grateful to Blake Morgan LLP for the kind use of their offices at 6 New Street Square.
The event was well-attended by members and commenced with a presentation by Jamie Dickson on his winning essay for the Rosie Choueka Memorial Essay Competition 2022/2023. The Committee were very pleased that Rosie’s parents Jeffrey and Maralyn were able to join us on the day. An engaging panel discussion followed on the Procurement Act 2023, hosted by Dr Totis Kotsonis with speakers Joanne Clement KC, Azeem Suterwalla KC and Benjamin Tankel.
An election then took place for a number of places on the PLA’s Executive Committee. Congratulations to Kate Davies (re-elected), Laura Brealey and Jonathan Lewis who were elected to the PLA Committee. The Committee wishes to thank everyone who stood for election, including our outgoing Committee Member Kate Gough. We are grateful to Kate for her time and efforts during her term.
Thank you to all of our speakers throughout the day, including our event chair Duncan Osler. We are also grateful to our members for supporting the event. A copy of the minutes can be accessed via the link below. This includes a copy of our annual report (Appendix 2) and report by the Finance and Membership Secretary (Appendix 3).
