The PLA are delighted to announce the winners of the 2016-17 Essay Prize competition. The 2016-17 competition was on the theme of “Brexit”. We received some excellent entries, and the winners are as follows:

1 – James Frampton, pupil Barrister at Keating Chambers

2 – Barbara Bell, unregistered Barrister, seeking pupillages (currently at UBS)

3 – Amy Rose Warman, trainee solicitor at Shakespeare Martineau LLP.

The presentation to the winners will take place at the PLA’s Annual General Meeting to be held in early 2018 (details to be announced).
