The Procurement Lawyers’ Association Steering Committee is delighted to invite you to the PLA’s second annual dinner on Thursday, 17 November 2022 at the Royal Institute of British Architects, 66 Portland Place, London, W1B 1AD.  We hope that this will be a great opportunity for members to come together on the eve of the White Paper Conference on Public Procurement.

Please note that the last date for buying tickets will be Friday 4 November 2022.

Our guests of honour will be Lord Justice Coulson, Peter Bennett (formerly of the Cabinet Office) and Professor Sue Arrowsmith.  Our guest speaker will be Peter Smith, author of Bad Buying: How Organisations Waste Billions Through Failures, Frauds and F*ck-ups.

The timings for the evening are:

• 18:30: Arrival and drinks reception
• 19:30: Dinner served
• 21:15: After dinner speeches
• 23:00 Carriages

The cost per ticket for private practice members is £96.54 (including ticket fee) and for public sector members £46.95 (including ticket fee). The ticket price includes one welcome drink and a three-course meal with wine.  There is a paying bar also available throughout the evening.

As with our previous annual dinner, there will be a seating plan and you are welcome to indicate your sitting preference.

The dress code is business attire.

Please specify any dietary requirements or food allergies when buying your ticket. In any event, the PLA will contact you in in this regard closer to the dinner.
