Rosie Choueka Memorial Essay Prize 2021-2022: RESULTS
Thank you to everyone who took part in the 2021-2022 PLA annual essay competition in memory of Rosie Choueka. We would like to also take this opportunity to thank the judges: John Houlden, Burges Salmon, Kieran McGaughey, Newcastle CC, Anthony Woolich, HFW and Lisa Boyd, Gately Tweed.
The results are as follows:
1st – Sarah Monaghan, Trowers & Hamlins
Joint runners up –
Christina Timson, Browne Jacobson
Isobel Williams, Bevan Brittan
The winner will receive £2000 and the joint runners’ up will each receive £750.
All of the judges thought that this year’s entries were of a particularly high quality and it was an extremely close field – so thank you for making their jobs so tough!
Sarah will be asked to present her essay to the membership at this autumn’s event and the three placed essayists will all be presented their prizes by Rosie’s family.
Further details will be provided closer to the time.
In the meantime, many thanks to all of the essayists – and our congratulations to the winners.
