The Rosie Choueka Memorial Essay Prize 2018-19 Winners
Thank you very much to all of you who submitted an essay for consideration by the Procurement Lawyers’ Association in the 2018-2019 Essay Competition, held in memory of our colleague, Rosie Choueka.
The standard of essays were particularly high this year and the question posed demanded a good grasp of the relevant legal framework. You provided our judges: Emily Heard of Bevan Brittan, John Houlden of Burges Salmon and Anthony Woolwich of Holman, Fenwick and Willan with a very tough task, but we are delighted to announce the top three ranked essayists as follows:
1st: Elizabeth Forster – Freshfields
2nd. Karl Edwards – Browne Jacobson
3rd. David Lukic – Government Legal Department
Congratulations all! We are currently planning a date in the diary for our annual event – where Elizabeth will be asked to present her essay and all three winners will be presented with their prize cheques by the family of Rosie Choueka. It is a very special evening and we hope that all essayists will be able to attend.
