Invitation for expressions of interest: Two New Working Groups Announced (December 2017)
The PLA is pleased to announce the formation of two new working groups focusing on developing areas of procurement law. The remit of the working groups will cover (1) conflicts of interest and (2) modifications to contracts during their term.
Working groups provide a vibrant platform for PLA members to share their expertise and views on areas of public procurement and all members of the PLA are invited and welcome to join these new groups. Meetings would typically take place by phone and the usual pattern is that the working group puts together a paper which is published on the PLA website. Usually a seminar is also presented, with working group members presenting the sessions at the seminar.
The working groups are likely to kick off in the New Year, but those who wish to express an interest in joining the conflicts of interest group can email Jonathan Davey; and, in respect of the modifications to contracts during their term group, Graeme Palmer . An email will also be sent out to members to encourage you to join in the debate.
These are interesting and topical subjects so we hope you will be interested in joining a working group.
